Linux · 64-bit AppImage · auto-updating

1. Click the button above to download the .AppImage.
2. AppImages need FUSE to run. On Linux Mint 22 / Ubuntu 24.04 install it once — open a terminal and run sudo apt install libfuse2t64. (Without this, double-clicking the app does nothing.)
3. Make the file runnable: right-click it → Properties → Permissions → tick “Allow executing file as program” (or run chmod +x NovelNix_*.AppImage).
4. Keep the AppImage in your home folder — e.g. a NovelNix folder or ~/Applications, somewhere you can write to. That’s what lets NovelNix update itself automatically. Don’t move it into a system folder with sudo, or updates will fail.
5. Double-click the AppImage to launch.
6. Your licence key should have been emailed to you — enter it to activate NovelNix. Can’t find it? Check your spam folder, or message me on socials.
